Every year the students involved with MSU-Mankato InterVarsity gathers together for a weekend to meet God and grow in community. This year our Fall Conference is a Digital Camino!
What is a Digital Camino?
Camino is the Spanish word for "the road or the way" referring to the famous Camino de Santiago. Traditionally, a peregrino (Spanish for pilgrim) would embark on a spiritual pilgrimage/journey to Santiago from their front door, eventually converging with one of several ancient pathways in northern Spain. On a Digital Camino, you can join the tradition via five audio-guided walks done on your own, accompanied by times of fun & reflection with fellow peregrinos as we focus on our personal and communal spiritual journey!
What does the Digital Camino look like?
The retreat is meant to be done partially on your own and partially in person. Saturday is meant to be a day to participate in the Camino together, we will meet at the fitness trails on campus at MSU-Mankato if you would like to take some of the walks in community. However, you can complete the Camino on your own if distance or health is a concern. There are also optional events including a movie night and a bonfire. Below is a tentative schedule.
